Basic Postmortem Fingerprint Kit
This kit is intended to assist in the fingerprinting of deceased individuals. Our Postmortem Fingerprint Kit contains 100 left postmortem strips, 100 right postmortem strips, a postmortem print spoon, and a PI-5 Perfect Ink ink pad, all contained in a plastic carrying case.

Postmortem Fingerprinting Strips
Specifically designed for recording hard to obtain deceased/rolled impressions. Unlike other postmortem strips with mis-numbered finger blocks, these strips are consistent with the finger block numbers on a standard fingerprint card, right hand 1-5, left hand 6-10. Fits standard strip holders. Printed on flexible card stock, 8” x 1 ½”. Also available as adhesive strips.

Postmortem Print Spoons
Designed to allow for clear and complete fingerprinting of the deceased or otherwise unmovable fingers. Requires post mortem strips which are sold below. The folding model is made of stainless steel, while the standard model is coated aluminum.

Bone Shears
These stainless steel bone cutters feature 1 1/2” wedge blades designed to crunch through the finger bones of the deceased. Excellent for use during post-mortem fingerprinting and identification. The total length of the shears is 7 1/2”. The handles are spring loaded to facilitate usage. Clean with alcohol or disinfectant. Not for use on living subjects.

Scalpels
A necessary implement at crime scenes. Excellent for recovery of dried body fluid scrapings and other stains. Available in disposable and reusable styles. Extremely sharp, use caution. Stainless scalpel includes ten #24 scalpel blades. Disposable scalpels sold as package of ten, individually wrapped scalpels.
